It’s been a while .. I bought some wild heckels about a year ago and bought a maybe heckel cross about 6 months ago. They spawned a couple of times but no wrigglers until today … delighted but also a bad sad as I don’t have a spare tank. Let’s see what happens...

I had a pair of discus in a tank that had a little bit of brown algae on the bottem. I put a pleco in the tank to clean it up. The next day one discus was laying on the bottem with its fin barely moving. I thought it was dead so I went to remove her, she did move a bit more so I decided to do a water... -
Back in the day we had a System One diatom filter. It hung on the side of a tank and used a small cartridge and a table spoon or two of diatoms. It would clear up a tank in a short time. It was much smaller than a Vortex filter and much more convenient. Are there any comparable diatom filters available...

After a busy week, I have nothing pressing to do today. I'm enjoying it.
It's warm here but very windy. The wind blew out the bottom half of my window which I probably didn't put in correctly after I tilted it in to clean the outside. My dear sweet neighbor who helps me when I can't... -
